Comment by Rupesh Chhagan on March 27, 2012 at 8:33am Hi Cherry,
I'm out of town right now, but when I get back I could help you with some acupuncture/herbs to heal your xiphoid process. Let me know if you are interested. I'm available Thurs and Fri morning. 512-917-3404
Peace,
Rupesh
Comment by Cherry Taylor on March 26, 2012 at 10:17am That'd be great Clayton. I replied to Lila who said she could come by after work. I told her I thought driving down 35 at 4:30 was a fate worse than death. Hopefully there is someone who lives a little closer. I have another friend nearby but she is in Europe right now and won't be back until next week. Mainly I can't bend over or pick anything up. Right now I can't drive either because of the pain meds. An email inquiry would be terrific, thanks. Cherry
Comment by Clayton Maxwell on March 26, 2012 at 9:14am thanks, Cherry, for letting us know! I don't know anyone in that area, but can i send out a general email to inquire? thanks. C
Comment by Cherry Taylor on March 25, 2012 at 4:28pm Hey guys -- Unfortunately, I have injured something called a xiphoid process which is inhibiting my physical abilities right now. Do you guys know of anyone in the sangha who lives near the Wells Branch area? I'm needing some help with some small tasks that I am unable to do right now. If you know of anyone, they can reply to cherryt@austin.rr.com or call 944-0548. Thanks. Cherry

Appamada is not just the occasional mindful thought or attentive state of mind, it’s actually a commitment to being attentive. It’s more than just a meditative state of mind, it’s more than just being mindful. It has to do with that primary ethical or moral orientation we have in life, with which we bring into being whatever activity we’re engaged in. Whether in formal meditation, in our interactions with other people, in our social concerns, or in our political choices, it’s the energetic cherishing of what we regard as good.
