Comment by Cherry Taylor on March 3, 2011 at 9:24am Not sure whether to reply to Lila's e-mail or just post here. I cleaned once last month but did not in February. I have had schedule conflicts one way or another pretty much every Saturday this past month and likely will not be able to come this next Saturday either. I still plan on helping clean at least 1 Saturday a month as my schedule allows.
Comment by Lila Parrish on January 4, 2011 at 11:31am I plan on going over to clean this Saturday the 8th around 12:30 or 1:00. Not sure if I'll be working weekends with my next rotation starting up in a couple of weeks but will resume cleaning at least 1 Saturday a month if possible.

Appamada is not just the occasional mindful thought or attentive state of mind, it’s actually a commitment to being attentive. It’s more than just a meditative state of mind, it’s more than just being mindful. It has to do with that primary ethical or moral orientation we have in life, with which we bring into being whatever activity we’re engaged in. Whether in formal meditation, in our interactions with other people, in our social concerns, or in our political choices, it’s the energetic cherishing of what we regard as good.
